Last night, Alta Moda Bridal hosted a spring cocktail party for local wedding vendors and stylemakers. The festive evening celebrated the launch of the Claire Pettibone collection at the Salt Lake City boutique.
Guests sipped Bellinis and snacked on an assortment of gourmet cheese while browsing Alta Moda’s gorgeous wedding gowns. DJ Rob Bennion provided the evening’s soundtrack, and calligrapher Ashantai Yungai, aka Mr. Magic Hands, created beautiful custom name tags for guests. We love this idea for a reception: How cool would it be to have Yungai hand-calligraph escort cards for all of your wedding guests as they arrive?
To debut the new Claire Pettibone collection, Alta Moda presented a runway show with models dressed in the romantic, boho-esque wedding gowns. The fanciful , figure-loving designs highlighted Claire Pettibone hallmarks: intricate embroideries, metallic threading, floral motifs, delicate lace details and straps, and sheer and open backs.
The icing on the cake dress? Dreamy double veils designed, hand-made, and hand-dyed by Alta Moda owner Hilary Anderson. The veils are a whimsical twist on traditional styles and are the perfect accent to Claire Pettibone bridal gowns.
We’ve had a long-standing crush on Claire Pettbone’s subtly sexy dresses, and we’re happy to see them make their home at Alta Moda Bridal.
Thanks for a fun evening Hilary, Justin, and the Alta Moda gals!
